Stephen Purdon as Pirate Pichard

Stephen was part of Toonspeak Theatre Group as a child before training at Langside College. His Film and TV work includes Ratcatcher, directed by Lynne Ramsay, Sweet Sixteen, directed by Ken Loach. He has also played series regular Bob O’Hara in BBC Scotland’s River City since 2002.

Stephen’s theatre credits include a national tour of Scotland of The Benny Lynch Story where he played Scottish boxing legend Benny Lynch and he’s also starred in Pantomime at The Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow regularly since 2003.

Stephen is delighted to be back at The Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow this year for another magical Pantomime!
